We are a family-owned Building and Remodeling company

My name is Michael Loch. I started Loch Build and Remodel with a passion to always do my best and create something beautiful that people use and need. We are a family-owned Building and Remodeling company based out of St Michael, MN. I have worked doing construction projects for friends and family since my youth. 

My experience has always been in detailed workmanship. I began working Farm Help/ Construction & Family retail business as a jeweler, setting diamonds and custom ring design. I have transitioned those skills to a more practical functional art: Custom Home Remodeling & New Construction.  Some of my Trade background is in tile showers / Water Damage Solutions inside and outside homes New or Older homes. Being specialized in water issues in homes and working with experienced trades we have developed a building and remodeling concept with specialized leadership in separated areas. 

Michael leads the interior finishing with his years of experience and we Constantly Review and Research exterior Finishes. 

Our other licensed trades plumbing, electrical, and HVAC we have excellent experience and trust with each person involved in our projects.  We are a referral-based business. 

Goals perception and trust. In over 20 years of construction projects, we have found that the key to a successful project is realizing your goals, and trying to match that. Workmanship that we can stand behind without unnecessary problems. For example, when we put in a tile shower our goal is that your shower lasts a lifetime, whereas the warranty for a tile shower is only 1 yr in the state of MN. We strive for best practice, not just good enough. We see good enough often fall short, and we don’t want that for our customers. We want to be proud of our projects and build a relationship of trust that lasts a lifetime. 

An important step to starting any project is to identify goals that you have. Many time it is budget, and photos of a design that you have found. We like to build off that initial identification of goals and work forward to make your dreams come to life. We work with distributor showrooms in the area to provide you material selections without the extra cost of an on-site showroom.
